Bitter to Hr. E. E. Bennett in letter dated May 9# 1952, copy to you, covering services to be performed by Industrial Development Department for the 5 months, August through December, 1953# and each calendar year thereafter, for water production facilities of the LA&SLRRCo. at Las Vegas, Nevada: As you know, an election is being held at Las Vegas on September 30, 1953# to vote on bonds for the purchase by Las Vegas Valley Hater District of the water production and distribution system of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company and to construct pipe lines, reservoirs, water tanks, booster stations, etc. Depending on the outcome of this election, it is indefinite what expenses will be incurred by Industrial Development Department in connection with the water pro­duction and distribution system which is now held in the name of Las Vegas Land and Water Company. Based on LVLAtWCe. continuing to operate and maintain these facilities for an indefinite period, am showing on attached statement estimate of expense to be incurred by Industrial Development Department in this connection for the months of August to December, inclusive, 1953, end estimated annual expense thereafter. 1-237 W.
