    We the undersigned Do hereby Locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for mining, purposes on this Lead Lode as Ledge as Deposit of Silver Bearing, Rock and are to be Known and Described as the Rattler Mine commencing, at the monument upon which this notice is placed and running in a Easterly Direction seven hundred and fifty feet also in a westerly direction seven hundred and fifty feet on and along said Lead Lode as Ledge as Deposit of Silver Bearing Rock and are and including three hundred feet on each side there of for mining, and working purposes we claim and intend to hold and work said claim and mining ground in accordance with this mining Laws of the United States approved May 10th 1872 and in accordance with the Mining Laws of El Dorado Mining District Lincoln County State of Nevada.
    Said mine is situated about three thousand feet Easterly from the Black Jack Mine and joining, on to the east end of the snow storm mine
