ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 200-5 Assessment Roll & Award of Bids Commissioner Whipple moved that the confirmation and approval of the Assessment Roll and t he award of the Bid for the installation of improvements in Assessment District No. 200-5 be held in abeyance until September 3, 1952. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote:Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent:Commissioner Bunker. CLASSIFICATION & SALARY Commissioner Peccole moved the following classification and salary changes as recommended by the CHANGES Assistant City Manager in her report August 19, 1952, be, approved: I. That the Class title of Principal Engineering Aide be changed to "Survey Party Chief" with no change in class description, and no change in salary schedule, the present allocation being Schedule (22) 322-341-360-381-403; that the class title of Principal Engineering Aide be abolished and that all incumbents of this class, and any eligibles on any examination list, be hereafter classified as "Survey Party Chief." II. That the class of Senior Engineering Aide be divided into three comparable classes having more accurate and definitely descriptive titles, as follows: INSTRUMENTMAN CIVTL ENGINEERING DRAFTSMAN CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR That the attached class descriptions be adopted and incorporated into the classification plan; that there be no change in salary schedule, that each of the above titled classess be allocated to schedule (20) 288-305-322-341-360, and that the incumbents be allocated and classified as follows; INSTAUMENTMAN-Clint on Stay Gerard Keith CIVIL ENGINEERING DRAFTSMAN-Erich Baker Verne Eaton CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR-Fred Callihan and that the class of Senior Engineering Aide be abolished. III. That the class of Engineering Aide (16) be abolished and that all incumbents and eligibles on examination lists be reclassified to the class of Rodman and Chainman (17) 244-258-273-288-305; that the attached class description be incorporated into the classification plan. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent Commissioner Bunker.
