Folger. *********************** ********O*P*I*N*I*O*N********* BY THE COMMISSIONt On June 2, 1939, Jake Bookley, a resident of the City of Las Vegaa filed a oomplaint with this Commission that the Las Vegas Land and Water Company had refused t© furnish him with water service on Lot *H", located in Park Place Addition to the City of Las Vegas. Hearing was held at Las Vegas on June 17, 1939. Accord* ing to the record, It appears that Complainant intends to erect a nine-cabin auto court at his residence in this location and will do e as soon as water service ©an be obtained. Application has been s&de for this service, but the same has been refused by the Water company on the grounds that sufficient water is not available during fehe summer months to serve both new and old customers. A representative of the water company testified that luring three summer months of each year the system is taxed to -1-
