m Mr. Wm. Reinhardt -2- April 15,1954 April 13th and Mr. Montgomery's letter to Mr. Campbell of the same date. It would seem to me that in view of the discrepancies in the cost of these wells between Mr. Montgomery's figures and those of Mr. Adamson, and in view of the possible omission of the cost of electrical equipment and connections, and certain other contingencies mentioned by Mr. Maag to me, we should have an over-all figure in excess of the $83,560 mentioned by Mr. Montgomery? and if you do talk to Mr. Stoddard, I think you should talk about a sum approximately not to exceed $100,000. Of course, Mr. Maag's detailed estimate, which you will have, will be more informative than this guess of mine; but after talking to him yesterday, and reading Mr. Adamson's memorandum, I frankly think Mr. Montgomery's figures are too low. I have not Included in the above comments a statement made by Mr. Montgomery that we will have to change the pump in Well No. 11 at a cost of "approximately $5,000 installed". This figure, if reasonably correct, should be Included in the cost of the completed project for both the new wells. E. E. Bennett EEB:ps P.S. C. M. Cory: I Herewith is copy of Mr. Montgomery's letter to Mr Campbell of April 13th. I have heretofore given you copy of my memorandum of conference with Mr. Muth, and do not have copy of Mr. Adamson's memorandum but I have pretty well discussed it in the above letter. E. E. B.
