% -5- Secretary Matthai in executing and delivering amendatory agreement, C. L. D. No. 2288, dated November 12, 1938, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and A. 0. Smith Corporation, covering construction by this company and sale to said A. 0. Smith Corporation of an additional building upon purchase parcel of land at East Los Angeles, California, covered by agreement dated August 17, 1938 (Audit No. 9924 , as amended by agreement Audit No. 9924-1 of September 16, 1938), between said parties; estimated cost of said additional building being $2,200; and said A. 0. Smith Corporation agreeing to pay to the Land Company the actual cost of said additional building, with interest at 6$ per annum upon the deferred principal, in monthly installments of $25; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing and delivering-lease agreement, C. L. D. No. 2316, dated December 1, 1938, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and A. T. Knopp, an individual, doing business as Signal Hill Supply Co., covering site for the storage of second-hand pipe, located at Burnett, California, for term beginning December 1, 1938, and extending to November 30, 1940; rental consideration $60.00 per annum, payable monthly in advance; subject to termination by Lessor on 30 days' written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
