Los Angeles, June 20, 1907. Mr. Walter R. Bracken, Agent; Las Vegas, Rev. . Lear Sir:- On May 7th I wrote you regarding objections made to rate charged for water furnished in the Thomas Block and suggested that you have Mr. Boland sub~ mit a written statement that will show the present conditions under which water is used on the second floor in the block, I.e.- the number of rooms, what the rooms are used for, and for what purpose water is used. If they are satisfied to continue paying the water rent on the present basis, of course it will not be necessary that any further action be taken but if they are not satisfied, we wish to have the matter settled at an early dat e.
