I agree.V OHS Me. f. H. Knickerbocker, General Manager, Los Angeles, California. Dear Sir: Las Vegas, October 1£, 1934. Herewith original letter and attachments from J. 1*. Shaughnessy, Chairman of the Public Service Commission, all of which are self-explanatory. In conference with Attorney MeUamee this morning, he advises that we take no action concerning the matter at this time. I enclose copy of my acknowledgment to Mr. Shaughnessy’s letter. Upon later quiet investigation, I find there is a very secret movement on the part of some of our citizens to acquire, through Government loans, the purchase of both the water system and the South levada Power company. Will keep you advised promptly of any further details or information received in connection with this. Yours truly, ec - Mr. E. E. Bennett, Mr. C. G. Barry. r * r r OCT 33 I P
