COUNTY OF CLARK) Dick Lochrie, Being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is foreman of the Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from June 11, 1945 to June 18, 1945 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: June 11, 18, 1945 That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named. /s/ Dick Lochrie___________ Subscribed and sworn to before me this 18th day of June, 1945 /s/ A. E. Cahlan____________ My commission expires January 12, 1945. Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment in the City Jail for not more than One Hundred Fifty (150) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed; and this ordinance shall take effect six (6) months after its adop­tion and publication, for two successive issues in the Las Vegas Evening Review Journal, a daily newspaper, published in the City of Las Vegas. The above and foregoing ordinance was proposed, read aloud in full and adopted this 22nd day of June , 1945 by the following vote: VOTING AYE: Commissioners Baskin, Bates, Clark and His Honor Mayor Cragin._______________ VOTING NO : None________________________________________________________________________ ABSENT : Commissioner Corradetti______________________________________________________ And it was thereafter read aloud to the Board for a second time at a regular meeting of the Board held on the 22nd day of June____, 1945.
