I agree.Las Vegas * February 11, 1946 W 233 - 3 a? Mr. Frank Strong? Attached is copy of letter from Assistant State Engineer with regard to pumping tests on some of our wells at Las Vegas. Mr. Maxey represents the United States Geological Department and he, together with the State Engineer representative here, is making a study of the underground water supply* The nature of the tests on our wells will be to open one well and let it flow for 48 hours during which time they will take pressure readings on adjacent wells to see if there is a noticeable effect* I understand Mr* Edwards makes weir measurements on the 15th and last of the month and possibly the tests referred to could be made at that time, if you see no objection* I feel that we should cooperate with the State and National officials in their study and, if concur, will you kindly advise Mr. Edwards with to me* 1 4 3 9 4 $ W alter r . bra cken FEI Wfr $ jxU *i iiny
