I agree.Page 2 PROFESSIONAL CONVENTION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION This Convention which was scheduled for January, 1961 at the Riviera Hotel has been cancelled. INTERNATIONAL MARINE TRADE SHOW This Boat Show which was scheduled to be held on December 12-15, I960 at the Convention Center has been cancelled because they were unable to sell space to the Exhibitors. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RETAIL DRUGGISTS This Convention is under solicitation for 1963, and looks good. When John Dargavel, Executive Secretary visits Las Vegas, which should bo soon, wo will moot with unn to 9^ over the detsi Is 01 his requirements. We do have the vote of the Convention Committee and Peter Codner, Secretary of the Nevada State Pharmaceutical Association, Reno, Nevada, has been working with the Bureau in extending the invitation to HARD to meet in Las Vegas. AMERICAN SOCIETY OF TRAVEL AGENTS The invitation to meet in Las Vegas in 1962 was accepted and confirmed. A Committee of A3TA will visit Las Vegas soon after^ the first of the year. We will have a briefing on questions prior to their visit so that we will have the answers when they get here. The dates are not yet set for the 1962 Convention; however, the Convention Bureau has blocked October 13-27, after being advised that November dates would not be considered. The Bureau will also block dates of October 27-November 3. The dates will probably be set when the ASTA Committee meets here with us. The importance of a good size Las Vegas delegation to the 1961 ASTA Convention in Vienna, Austria was stressed.
