I agree.Lae Vegas, fte'v., May 19, TjgGh Mr. C. F. Miller, Divn. Engr., Los Angeles & Salt Lake L ob Angeles, Californi- Dear Sir:- your inquiry of May 17£h in • 'Jr*- reference to proposed well to be drilled/in the Shop yards, I beg to advise that judging f ^ m the three nearest wells which are within a triangle, that we should have to ga possibly 700 p o 750 ft. for the under s• t? rata of water. - JFA > . The E u n d T 'w e ll in the south encountered water at 300 ft. but went to the 620 ft. level and got a well with a pressure of 21 lbs. The Buol well in the west went to a depth of 285 ft. encountering the first strata of water and they went on down to 602 ft. where they have one of the largest flows of any well in the Valley, with a pressure of 20 lbs. The other well of the triangle, which is the Conley well just east of our present townsite a few blocks drilled down to 735 ft. and he has a pressure of 60 lbs. so as we are in the center of the triangle I would judge to get a_good flow of water and heaVy pressure we would have to drill from 700 to 750 ft* Yours truly, Vice ? Pres. &AG EANTg /ent.
