JUNE, 1920 Docket No. 34.— Crackers, Cakes, etc., as described in Item 1005-A of W. F. T. B. Tariff No. 111-A, E. B. Boyd’s I. C. C. A-987, between Chicago, Mississippi River, etc. and Colorado common points. Proposed, change packing requirements to read: “ In cartons, in crates; in fibre or metal cans with glass fronts, glass protected by corrugated fibre-board or wood, or without glass fronts, in crates; in fibre or metal cans with or without glass fronts, in shipping racks; in shipping baskets with solid wooden covers; in wheeled carriers, wood, fibre-board, iron or steel combined, locked or sealed with metal seals; in boxes or barrels; in paper cartons loaded at end of box cars, securely held in place by crating or slats across car. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated June 12, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee as follows: All items in rules, circulars or individual tariffs iff W. T . L. territory providing 4th Class rates on Bakery Goods, in carloads, mini­mum 20,000 lbs. (including Item 1005-A, Boyd's Tariff 111-A, and Item 1110, Boyd's Tariff 120), to be cancelled and the classification basis applied. Item 1000-A of Tariff 111-A, which provides 3rd Class rates between Colorado Common Points and Chicago, Peoria, etc., on Bakery Goods, minimum weight 5,000 lbs., to be corrected to read as follows: s In cartons in crates: In fibre or metal cans with glass fronts, glass protected by corrugated fibre board or wood, or without glass fronts, in crates. In fibre oi metal cans with or without glass fronts, in shipping racks. In shipping baskets with solid wooden covers. Docket No. 35.—'Grain, carloads, from Sioux City, Iowa, to points in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma, also to Kansas City. Proposed, to establish proportional and reshipping rates based on differential of 3 % cents per 100 lbs. higher than like rates from Omaha. (See Standing Rate Committee’ s report dated*June 2, 1920.) The subject was withdrawn, the proponent having appeared Before the Rate Committee and agreeing to the withdrawal of the subject for the present. Docket No. 37.^-Circuses and Carnivals, etc., from and to points in Western Trunk line territory. Present, as established by the Railroad Administration, as shown in Western Freight Traffic Committee Circular No. 46; proposed, revised and increased rates. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated May 29, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee as follows, it being understood, however, that such action shall not reduce existing rates: That action on this subject be deferred until some date following the disposition of application for increased rates, with the under­standing that whatever increase is allowed by the Interstate Commerce Commission and State Railroad Commissions shall be applied to the transportation of Circus and Carnival Outfits. 10 JUNE, 1920 Docket No. 39.— Cement or Concrete Slabs, Reinforced, Building or Roofing, Chicago territory, Mississippi River and other points of origin in W. T .'L . Tariff No. 120-Series, to Utah common points. Present, Cement or Concrete Block rates and minimum weights; proposed, Brick carload rates. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated May 29, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee contemplating cancellation of Item No. 158 and amendment of Item No. 825 of Western Trunk Line Tariff No. 120-Series to include Cement and Concrete Slabs at rates applying on Brick and other Clay Products. Effective October 25, 1920, as announced in Rate Advice No. 3. Docket No. 40.—Blow Pipes, from and to points in W. T. L. territory. Present, class rates; proposed, mixture with Implements on Class A or commodity rate basis. (See Standing Rate Committee’s report dated May 29, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee, which contemplates no change in commodity tariffs or Rule Circulars pending action taken by the Classification Committee. Docket No. 41.—Evaporated Milk, C. L., points in Wisconsin to Eastern Trunk Line territory. Present, rates on Evaporated Milk from Wisconsin points to Eastern Trunk Line tem tory; in some cases same as or higher than on Condensed Milk; proposed, same rates on Evaporated Milk as are in effect on Condensed Milk. (See Standing Rate Committee’ s report dated May 29, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee as follows, it being understood, however, that'the^rates will only be made applicable via Milwaukee or Manitowoc and car ferry routes: That authority be issued to all lines to amend all-tariffs naming rates fiom Wisconsin points to Eastern Trunk Line territory to provide’ for’ same rates on Evaporated Milk-as in effect on Condensed Milk. - Rate Advice No. 3 advises that date effective will be announced later. Docket No. 42.—Drayage Charges at Holden, Mo., M. K. & T. Depot to Missouri Pacific Depot. Present, 4 cents per 100 lbs., minimum 10 cents per shipment; proposed, 4 cents per 100 lbs., minimum 25 cents per shipment. (See Standing Rate Committee’ s report dated May 29, 1920.) Approved recommendation of the Standing Rate Committee, which provides that authority be issued to the proponent railroad to correct tariff to provide for new drayage charges referred to above.
