V, 19158 Referring to your letter November 20, file 519-E, concerning the expiration on January 15, 1959 of Deed Audit 9?9 dated January 15, 1909# between Nevada-Ufcah Mines & Smelters Corporation - Ohio-Kentucky Consolidated Mining Company and Caliente & Pioche Railroad Company, covering the furnishing of 13#000 gallons of water daily for locomotive use at Pioche, Nevada: In view of the information given in Mr. Larkin’s letter of November 26, 1958, that we do not now obtain water for locomotive use, and that our supply of water at Pioche is obtained from Lincoln County Power District No* 1 through one meter for the four connections; Depot, Section House, Bunk House and Stockyard, at regular metered rate of 50^ per thousand gallons, and the further faet that the Power District does not enter into agreements with other users of water at Pioche, I am of the opinion that we should let the present contract expire by limitation January 15, 1959# and consider the matter closed* Go A.
