/ Omaha - January 6, 1953 21$0 Mr. E. E. Bennett: (CG - Mr. A. E. Stoddard Mr. Wm. Reinhardt Mr. W. H. Hulsizer Mr. R. M. Sutton) Subject: Proposal of Las Vegas Valley Water District to purchase water production and water distribution facilities of the Railroad Company and LVL&W Co. Referring to your letter of December 29th, file SO-11: The documents submitted with your letter have been reviewed by Messrs. Bachman, Sutton, Hulsizer and myself and discussed in conference today, and, subject to my comments below, are satisfactory: (1) I suggest that following the words "marked Exhibit xAxn in subparagraph (a), page 1, there be inserted the date of the exhibit. (2) It seems to me that some different indentation should be made of subparagraphs ' (c), (d) and (e) on pages 4, 5* and 6 so as to distinguish these paragraphs from the exceptions noted in subparagraphs (b-1) and (b-2) appearing on pages 2 and 3. (3) I suggest for clarity that there be inserted after the word "facilities" in the next to the last line of subparagraph (c), page 5, the words "of Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company". I suggest also that the name of the Pacific Fruit Express Company be substituted for the initials in the next to the last line of the same paragraph. (4) It seems to me that the word "any^ might be substituted for the word "all" in the fourth from the last line on page 6, but I assume both words in the sense they are or would be used have the same meaning.
