Folger, General Manager 401 South Second Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Sir: The State of Nevada, Department of Highways proposes to construct a new four lane highway from Bonanza Road Junction to the College Street Junction on North Main Street sometimes during the winder of 1950 and 1951* In order to construct the above mentioned route it is necessary for us to acquire six feet additional right of way from the eastBrly end of your property located on North Main Street. This six feet and four feet of our present right of way will be used as a sidewalk areq only, and no construction is proposed in this ten foot section. The value of this six foot width based on a $100.00 per front foot valuation of your entire property, has been computed by approved appraisal methods as $469.00. The fact that the new highway will increase the value of your property has not been made a factor in this consideration. If this meets with your approval please indicate ydur acceptance by letter at your early convenience and we will prepare the necessary deed and agreement to consumate the transaction.
