Gentlemen: Under the terms of tjg.e subject contract the Government agreed to purchase and you, as contractor, agreed to provide the utility services itemized until further notice, It is requested that the terms and provisions of this contract be continued effect after July 1, 1950 until further notice. A new contract for this service is now in the stages of preparation and execution by the Government and your organization. Upon completion of this new contract, you will be requested to discontinue operation under the subject contract and to provide services under the new contract. It is expected that operation under the new contract will become effective in about thirty days. By copy of this letter the activities responsible for forwarding the accomplished invoices and Inspection Reports to the Navy Regional Accounts Office are requested to provide proper fiscal 1951 accounting data.
