Las Vegas, Nevada June 29, 1950 CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING TO: SHIRLEY BALLINGER, City Clerk Las Vegas, Nevada A Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas is hereby called to be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, on the 29th day of June. 1950, at the hour of 3:30 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Approve tentative Assessment Rolls for Bond retirement on the following special Assessment Districts: #200-1 - Boulder Dam Homesite Addition Sewer #200-2 - West Charleston Blvd. Sewer #100-3 - 17th & Spencer Street, Street improvement. #100-7 - South Main Street Lighting. 2. Approve revised Assessment Roll for Bond retirement on Special Assessment District #200-3 - South Meadows Addition Sewer. 3. Report of Board of Civil Service Trustees s/ E. W. Gragin__________ Mayor NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO: E. W. CRAGIN, Mayor and to WENDELL BUNKER, R. T. MOORE, WILLIAM PECCOLE, REED WHIPPLE, Commissioners, and C. W. SHELLEY, City Manager and HOWARD W. CANNON, City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Cragin, a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 5th & Stewart, on the 29th day of June 1950, at the hour of 3:30 P. M. to consider the following matters: 1. Approve tentative Assessment Rolls for Bond retirement on the following Special Assessment Districts: #260-1 - Boulder Dam Homesite Addition Sewer #200-2 - West Charleston Blvd., Sewer #100-3 - 17th & Spencer Street, Street improvement. #100-7 - South Main Street Lighting 2. Approve revised Assessment Roll for Bond retirement on Special Assessment District #200-3 - South Meadows Addition Sewer. 3. Report of Board of Civil Service Trustees s/ Shirley Ballinger______ City Clerk ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager and City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special Meeting: s/ E. W. Cragin______________________ s/ Wendell Bunker_________________ s/ Reed Whipple______________________ s/ Robert T. Moore s/ William Peccole___________________ s/ C. W. Shelley A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners held this 29th day of June, 1950 was called to order at the hour of 3:15 P.M. by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin with the following members present: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple; City Manager C. W. Shelley and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. Absent: City Attorney Howard W. Cannon. TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT Commissioner Whipple moved that the Tentative Assessment Roll #8-1950 covering ROLL #8-1950 Special Assessment District #200-1 be accepted and a copy referred to the Assessor. Assessment District #200-1 Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes,none. TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT Commissioner Whipple moved the Tentative Assessment Roll #9-1950 covering Special ROLL #9-1950 Assessment District #200-2 be accepted and a copy referred to the Assessor. Assessment District #200-2 Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT Commissioner Whipple moved that the Tentative Assessment Roll #10-1950 covering ROLL #10-1950 Special Assessment District #100-3 be accepted and a copy referred to the Assessor. Assessment District #100-3 Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
