Campbell Chairman, Board of Directors La® Vegas Valley Water District 135 South 4th Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr, Campbellt I am submitting herewith original and four copies of a letter to Mr. L. W, Cochran, Subdivi&er of Morning View Heights Las Vegas, Nevada which refers to extension of water main® of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company requested by Mr. Cochran, detail® of which are reflected in “Details of Estimated Expen­ditures* 1 and location print mentioned below. Construction of the requested water mains is subject to approval by executives of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company. The enclosed letter has been requested by Mr. Cochran as a result of a requirement by the Las Vegas Board of City Commiss­ioners that the Subdivider secure a letter from the Water Company stating that it will provide water service to subdivision pro­posed by him prior to the official approval of his subdivision. If the construction of water mains requested by Mr. Cochran is approved by the District and Water Company executives, the cost thereof, if constructed, will fee added to the basic purchase price under the terms of Agreement OLD No. 1134-2 dated June 1 , 1953 covering sale of the water production, storage and distribution system to the District. I am therefore sending you herewith, three copies of our “Detail of Estimated Expenditures8 which show the estimated cost and the conditions under which said water m, ins will be constructed, together with two copies of our Drawing B-6 2 3 which shows the location thereof. If you agree that the enclosed letter as written should be furnished to the Subdivider, Mr. L. W. Cochran, will you please indicate your approval in the space provided thereon and return the original and two copies to me for further handling.
