Las Vegas - April 28, 1952 Referring to your letter of March 26, file 1-7334, to City of Morth Las Vegas concerning request for right-of-way aoross the Ranch property for proposed sewer line to connections with the Las Vegas Sewage Disposal Plant at Norman and 30th Sts. in county territory east of the Las Vegas city limits? ? . |p. Recently the City of North Las Vegas approved a #260,000 bond issue for sewer trunk line system for delivery of sewage to the Las Vegas disposal plant and the two cities have entered into contract for disposal. The City of North Las Vegas proposes to construct, among others, trunk lines, in location indicated by solid red lines on attached print, to a pumping plant to be constructed by it in the vicinity of Norman and 30th Sts. at which point it will be pumped into the Las Vegas sewer line in Norman Street. The City of North Las Vegas Is now acquiring necessary rights-of-w&y and requests the Water Company grant easement, 30 feet wide, 15 feet on each side of center line of Section 2 5 , from the east and west center line of the section southerly to Norman Street, as Indicated by blue oroashatoh on attached print. In addition, North Las Vegas desires to purchase from the Water Company a site 1001 by 265* at Norman and 30th Sts. in location outlined in blue for pumping plant site. Mr, Perliter, Consulting Engineer for North Las Vegas, states the sewer line will have gravity fall from North Las Vegas to the pumping plant si£e, from which point It will be Mr, A. C, Ritter - Los Angeles
