    Las Vegas - February 26, 1943 W 23-1-22 Mr. J. C. Gale? Referring to ay telegram B-23, regarding damage to pipeline on Charleston Blvd. February 23rd. For your information and file, I am enclosing here­with a set of photographs showing the damaged pipe and its location in the ditch. We have of course, had prior instance of pipe breaking but this is the first instance where a piece flew out of the ditch and landed some 15 feet distance, as shown by stake in one of the pictures. There was no evidence of external force as the bottom of dltoh was undisturbed. You understand of course, this line was not our property but will ultimately be taken over by us under con­tract. However the subdividers felt there was ‘Sabotage’ so 1 thought it best to call in our men to assist In the Investigation. waltim 'r; m m m
