On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President in execut­ing agreement, C. A. No. 10095, dated October 10, 1940, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Acme Past Freight, Inc., Lessee, covering lease of 25,230 square feet of land, located near Fifth Street and Mission Road, Los Angeles, California, together with the following improvements to be installed by Lessor: A covered platform, 300 ft. in length by 20 ft. in width; 3-inch asphaltic concrete paving; and 6-inch cement concrete paving; for term commencing upon the date said improvements are com­pleted or occupied, whichever occurs first, and extending to and including December 31, 1947; rental for land and improve­ments $125.00 per month, payable monthly in advance; premises to be used for the handling of merchandise shipments; Lessor consenting to the subletting of all or any portion of said premises to the International Forwarding Company; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it wa3 RESOLVED, that the action of President and Assist­ant Secretary Rigdon in executing contract, C. D. No. 25249, dated October 19, 1940, between McNeil Construction Co., Con­tractor, and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Owner, cover­ing the furnishing of all necessary materials, superintend­ence, labor, tools, plant equipment and transportation, and the construction in vicinity of Mission Road, between Fourth and Fifth Streets, Los Angeles, California, of -
