fef. Mr. L. ¥. Peart - Cfeiaha Beferring to conversation with your office on August 12th, with regard to transfer of Railroad Company production and transmission facilities to Las Vegas Land and Water Company as of August 1, 1953# and additional data which will he required fro® this office in order to comply with the requirements of the LVL&W Co., annual report and Union Pacific Railroad Company Agreement, Audit Mo. 80300 dated August 1, 1953 between Railroad Company and Las Vegas Land and Water Company. A general description of the properties acquired by the Water Company Is contained under “RecitalsH in Agreement Audit Mo. 80300. These properties are additions to the property of the Water Company and will be operated and maintained by the Water Company, entirely Independent of the Railroad Company and without the benefit of assistance from the Railroad Company. It is my understanding that your office has heretofore prepared the annual report for the Water Company and will continue to do so on the same basis as heretofore. With regard to the requirements of Union Pacific Railroad Company Agreement Audit Mo. 80300, it ia apparent that in order to comply with the provisions of this Agreement, especially with respect to preparation of water bill against the Railroad Company, it is my thought that it will be desirable to establish several new account numbers in order to conveniently furnish a separation of operation and maintenance costs, which will have to be divided between the “Production Facilities* which will Include all of the wells, reservoirs, * t *1953 Las Vegas - w 2 3 -1 - 1 i S & - I X August 17# 19 ce: K.
