251 Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. CANNON City Attorney (CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING) A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada held this 24th day of February, 1953 was called to order at the hour of 9 :30 A.M. by His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple with the following members present: Mayor Pro Tem Reed Whipple Commissioner Rex A. Jarrett Commissioner William Peccole City Attorney City Manager Asst. City Mgr, City Clerk Howard W. Cannon C.W. Shelley Dora Lord Shirley Ballinger Absent: Mayor C.D. Baker Commissioner Wendell Bunker At this time two requests of the City for easement for the installation of sewer pipe lines were presented to the Board for consideration. One request for easement was made of the Union Pacific Railroad Company to cress their right-of-way in order to install a sewer line to serve the proposed Cadillac Arms tract. The other was a request of the City of the State Highway Department for permission to cross the Boulder Highway so that s sewer line can be installed to serve the Eastwood Subdivision.
