SHARP Commissioner A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, held this 27th day of July, 1953 was called to order at the hour of 8:00 P.M. by His Honor Mayor C.D. Baker with the following members present: Mayor C.D. Baker Commissioner Wendell Bunker Commissioner Rex A. Jarrett Commissioner Harris P. Sharp Commissioner Reed Whipple City Attorney Howard W. Cannon Acting City. Mgr. A.H. Kennedy City Clerk Shirley Ballinger Also present were the following members of the Clark County Board of Commissioners: Commissioner George Albright Commissioner Rodney Colton Commissioner Harley Harmon At this time discussion was had on the proposed agreement with the County for Sewer service to the proposed Sherwood Park Subdivision. This subdivision is comprised of approximately forty-three acres adjoining the south city limits, running along San Francisco Street. Mr. A.W. Ham, Jr. representing the Subdividers of this property was present and entered into the discussion. At the hour of 9:35 P.M. the meeting recessed. The meeting reconvened at the hour of 9:55 P.M. with all members present as of the opening session.
