Independent of two new subdivisions, service to which we are taking over pursuant to order of Nevada Public Service Commn, it is absolutely essential that additional water be developed over last year’s production to take care of demands of city as a whole, parts of which were inefficiently served last summer, and since last summer there has been further development. The two privately owned wells serving the Boulder and Park Plaoe subdivisions are located downstream from LVL&W Co wells, so that during hot weather months when latter Co is drawing heavily on subterranean supply the flow to these private wells is intercepted and it is impossible to produce sufficient water therefrom to serve the two subdivisions, service to which we have been obliged to take over. 2. The two subdivisions are known as Boulder Addition, located south of Charleston Blvd and west of 5th St., and Park Place Addition, located south of Charleston Blvd and east of 5th St. 3. The private wells will be used by owner to serve his privately owned auto court. 4-. This projeot is by no means standby or insurance against fire incident to failure of existing wells. It is a defense oom~ munlty requirement for adequate service. 3. Anticipated additional load, two million gals, per day. 6.
