I agree. You Can Help! Never, in all the years of Southern California's great growth, has there been a more urgent need for united and vigorous efforts to safeguard our water future. There are grave problems that must be solved; decisions that will affect generations to come must be made; issues that cannot be ignored must be reconciled. An active citizens organization, accurately informed and determined to do something about these matters, is essential. That is why the Southland Water Committee was organized. The Southland Water Committee is a non-profit, non-partisan citizens organization dedicated to the development and safeguarding of an adequate Southland water supply. There is no financial obligation and all citizens are invited to join.
