Campbell, President Las Vegas Valley Water District Box 1946 Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Sir; It is our intention in the very near future, to start a survey relative to the installation of an accounting system and related processes for the Las Vegas Valley Water District. Such survey will be under the general supervision of a partner of Haskins & Sells, from the San Francisco Office. We also deem it adviseable to make a preliminary survey of estimated operating revenues and expenses for a period of sixty to ninety days after the purchase is consuaated, so that proper provision for working capital fUnde can be budgeted. Such estimates should be based, in part, on existing conditions as reflected in current operating totals of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company,. Both of the foregoing undertikings will necessitate our having access to the pertinent records or statements of the Water Company, and permission to observe the existing method of record keeping and flow of transactions. We suggest you obtain such permission from the appropriate officials of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company or the Union Pacific Railroad at your earliest convenience, so that we can program our work, and make the necessary arrangements with Haskins and Sells. lours very truly, CCASw a Y, Mu L, rtilLS 4c FUNSTON NCsmo By: Nelson Conway
