I agree.> M Leases & Drilling m October 7th, 1958 Gentlemen: As co-chairman of the ?║ift Donation Committee for the 20th Annual Carnival to be given by Troop 155 and Pack 155C of the Boy Scouts of America situated in the Hollywood-Wilshire District I have been requested by several of the men on the Committee to contact you regarding the donation Of a 2-night expense paid stay in your fine hotel where most of us stay when we are in Las Vegas. Our carnival will be held on the grounds of the Third Street School located bn the corner of Third and June Streets on Saturday, October 25th. We usually have several thousand people in attendance as it is the only fund raising event for these Boy Scout units and supports their yearVs full activities; Where we would prefer a week-end stay, we would be pleased to receive a donation in the middle of the week during the months of either November or December. The free stay will be awarded without cost as a door prize and credit and thanks will be given to the Sands over our loud speaker systum. We wish to thank you in advance for your kind consideration of this request which will be very greatly appreciated by the committee, the Boy Scouts and myself and I can assure you the resulting business which you may depend bn will more than re- pay this donation.
