Ordinance No. 198 was published in said newspaper for a period of Two weeks from April 1, 1933 to April 8, 1933 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: April 1, and April 8, 1933. That said newspaper was regularly issued and circulated on each of the dates above named. That the legal charge for publishing the same was $88.50. Signed J. W. (NOTARIAL SEAL) ORDINANCE NO. 199 An Ordinance to amend Section LXXXXIV of Ordinance No. 170 of the City of Las Vegas, entitled, "An Ordinance of the City of Las Vegas regulating travel and traffic upon the pub­lic streets; establishing a central traffic district; and providing penalty for the breach of any rules or regulations regarding traffic in this ordinance provided, and repealing Ordinances No. 66-68—69—86—90--94—120—124—125—127—141—, and 143 of the City of Las Vegas, and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict therewith." Approved July 6, 1931. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: Section 1. hat Section LXXXXIV of said Ordinance No. 170 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section LXXXXIV. PENALTY: Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than one dollar nor to ex­ceed Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in the City Jail not to exceed three (3) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and in default of the payment of any fine or part thereof, may be imprisoned in the City Jail of the City of Las Vegas one- half day for each one dollar of said fine remaining unpaid." Section 2. This ordinance to take effect immediately after its passage and publication and this ordinance is passed as an emergency ordinance. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have this ordinance published in the Las Vegas Age, a daily newspaper except Monday, published in the City of Las Vegas, for a period of two weeks. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was read for the first time at a re­cessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held on the 15th day of June, 1933, and was passed as an emergency ordinance upon second reading on said last mentioned date on the following vote: Commissioners Mundy, German, and Arnett and His Honor the Mayor voting aye.
