Reinhardt: Referring to our conversation relative to list of consulting engineers who are experienced in designing a system for wnter districts': I have made inquiry and quote below names of firms who are highly recommended by different engineers and in particular by Mr.-Julian Hinds, General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California: Taylor & Taylor, 725 So. Spring St., Los Angeles, Calif. (You already have this name in mind) J.M. Montgomery, 117 East Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, Calif J.M. Montgomery & Company, 306 West 3rd Street, Los Angeles, Calif. This firm is separate and apart from J.M. Montgomery listed above who was formerly head of' J.M. Montgomery & Co. but in recent times has withdrawn from this company and has no Interest in it. Mr. Hinds says that either Mr. Montgomery or the firm of J.M* Montgomery & Co. are both quite capable of preparing a layout and estimate for the water districts.
