Bennett Gentlemen: ATTENTIONS Commissioner Fred W. Clayton Ple&ae refer to your letter dated March 19# 195^4 and our telephone, conversation of April 1st relative to the Las Vegas Land and Water Company providing water service to the Judy Rich Tract {formerly called Tam Tract) and area adjacent to and immediately westerly of the Meadows Addition, Las Vegas, Nevada. ? I called Mr, Theodor# Nicholas and he advised that his certificate provided, only for water service in the Meadows Addition and, when I requested that he write me a letter stating that he had no desire to serve the area referred to above which lies outside the limits of the Meadows Addition, he stated that before writing such a letter he would call either you or Mr. Allen on the phone and discuss the matter with you. It was my understanding in discussing this matter that \\ the Commission would grant the Las Vegas Land and Water Company permission to serve the Judy Rich Tract and the area westerly of the Meadows Addition, The Judy Rich KSiterprlses and Industrial Development, a Partnership, are planning to commence construction of water mains In this area In the immediate future, and I would like to have this matter cleared up as quickly as possible. Will you therefore please confirm ray understanding that the Commission will grant the Las Vegas Land and Water Company permission to serve the Judy Rich Tract and the area easterly of the Meadows Addition. An early reply would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely LRMJlo L. R. Maag
