Lovett, c/o Union Pacific Railroad, No.120 Broadway, New York. /Near Sir:- I On my return from month*s absence in the Hawaiian Islands, I find your joint letter of January eighteenth, addressed to Mr. J.Ross Clark and myself, transmitting copy of minutes of meeting of the Executive Committee of the San Pedro Company, held at New York on January twelfth. I expect to arrange so that I will be able to go to Los Angeles in a week or ten days and take up with Mr,Clark and others the various matters passed upon by the Executive Committee that are referred to the Special Committee for disposition.
