for public examination; and WHEREAS, said estimates, plats, diagrams and plans were so filed on the 1st day of April, 1953; NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DOES ORDAIN AS, FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark and State of Nevada, does hereby declare its determination to make certain public improvements by paving, curbing and guttering certain streets and parts of streets therein, to create a special assessment district therefor, and to defray the entire cost and expense thereof by special assessments made according to benefit against the owners and the assessable lots, premises and property specially benefited by such improvements and included within said district, proportionately to the benefits received. SECTION 2. That the Board proposes to pave said streets and parts of streets by grading and constructing thereon an oil bound gravel pavement (4" Type 1 subbase, 4" Type 2 subbase, prime coat, 2" A. C. Paving, seal coat and chips) and by constructing on both sides of said streets and parts of streets concrete curbs and gutters, wherever said improvements are missing, including alley approaches, together with such appurtenances as may be required, as more particularly shown by the plats, diagrams and plans of the work and locality to be improved now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Las Vegas. SECTION 3. That the streets and parts of streets which the Board proposes so to have improved are the following: SIXTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the South right-of-way line of Garces Avenue, from the North right-of-way line of Garces Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Fremont Street, and from the North right-of-way line of Linden Avenue to the South property line of the Helldorado Village; SEVENTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the South right-of-way line of Garces Avenue, from the South right-of-way line of Bridger Avenue to the North right-of-way line of Carson Avenue, and from the North right-of-way line of Ogden Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue; EIGHTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the North right-of-way line of Clark Avenue, from the North right-of-way line of Fremont Street to a point 100 feet North, and from the South right-of-way line of Mesquite Avenue to the west right-of-way line of Ninth Street; NINTH from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the North right- of-way line of Gass Avenue, from the South right-of-way line of Bonneville Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Fremont Street, from the North right-of- way line of Ogden Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue, and from the North right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of Cashman Field; TENTH STREET from a point 100 feet North to the North right-of- way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of Cashman Field; ELEVENTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of the Kelso Turner Federal Housing, from the South right-of-way line of Bonanza Road to the South property line of Cashman Field; TWELFTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of Kelso Turner Federal Housing; FIFTEENTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Fremont Street; to the South right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue; HOOVER AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard; GASS AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard; GARCES AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street; BONNEVILLE AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the East right-of-way line of Sixth Street, from the East right-of- way line of Seventh Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; CLARK AVENUE from the West right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; LEWIS AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the East right-of-way line of Sixth Street, and from the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; BRIDGER AVENUE AND CARSON AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; OGDEN AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets, and from the East right-of-way line of Fourteenth Street to the East right-of-way line of Fifteenth Street; OGDEN AVENUE between amended Church Tract and Twenty First Street; STEWART AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the center line of the alley North between Ninth and Tenth Streets; MESQUITE AVENUE from the West right-of-way line of Eighth Street to the East right-of-way line of Tenth Street and from the West boundary of Fourteenth Street Addition to the West right-of-way line of Thirteenth Street; LINDEN AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the West right-of-way line of Sixth Street, and from the East right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the East right-of-way line of Tenth Street; BONANZA ROAD from the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the East right-of-way line of Thirteenth Street North; WILSON AVENUE from the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the East boundary line of Stewart Addition to the City of Las Vegas; ENCANTO DRIVE from the North right-of-way line of McWilliams Avenue to the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street; WALNUT AVENUE from the center line of Twenty- Third Street to the West right-of-way line of Twenty-Fifth Street. DYKE LANE from the North right-of-way line of Bonanza Road to a point 960 feet North. SECTION 4. That the special assessment district which it is proposed to create shall be designated Street Improvement Assessment District No. 100-20, and it shall include all the lots, premises and property, to the full depth of such, fronting, adjoining and abutting upon said streets and parts of streets. The boundaries of said proposed Assessment District are as follows: Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 7, Block 3, of Hawkins Addition to the City of Las Vegas, thence Southerly along the center line of the alley (projected) between Fifth and Sixth Streets South to the Northeasterly corner of Lot 15, Block 3, of Hawkins Addition to the City of Las Vegas; thence Westerly parallel to Fremont Street to Fifth Street South; thence Southerly along Fifth Street South to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 8, Block 2 of
