Los Angeles, California* Dear Brother,- I have just received from Mr. Lovett the file relating to the huilding of the packing house for the Southerland Fruit Company at Riverside, which he returned without any comment. I am satisfied now that he is in accord with us as he is no longer interested in the Southern Pacific. I am very glad that you all took a firm stand that we would not yield our right to build packing houses where we found it to our advantage to do so. Your affectionate brother, (Enci)
