.nil t o 1930 Audit Permit/#7641 fo r Las Vegas Laud & Water Company Las Vegas City. Los Angeles, July 9, 1930. Mr. F. H. Knickerbockers I have copy of your le tte r o f June 14 addressed to Mr. Walter R. Bracken, and your le tte r of June 28 quoting h is reply thereto, a l l re lative to the above. Mr. Adamson*s o ffic e has prepared a plat with legend showing the location and position of a l l water mains, water pipe lin e s, hydrants, la te ra ls , etc. now In sta lled , which I think is su fficien t to cover the situation, and I would advise that you forward same to Mr. Bracken fo r his inspection, with the request that he go over i t with Mr. Leo A. McMamee before the same is file d in the o ffice of the Clerk. I note what you say about Las Vegas Land Is Water Company taking over the water service now furnished by the Railroad Company in the three industrial tracts north of Main Street. In view o f the fact that in the near future application w ill be made by Las Vegas Land & Water Company to the Public Service Commission fo r pe mi salon to make a general increase in water rates, I think i t would be w ell fo r us, for the time being, to defer the transfer of any water service to the three in du strial tracts referred to.
