Hulsizer) Referring to your letter of September 19th concerning offer from the Las Vegas Valley Water District for our water producing and distributing facilities at Las Vegas. While I approve of accepting the offer in general and you may so advise the-Water District, it will, of course, as you point out, be necessary to clarify some of the points set out in the District’s letter and for your information in this connection I am sending you a copy of Mr. Rouse’s letter to me of September 16th. I agree in your thinking that we should get cash for the entire amount of the sale price, but if it later seems advisable to accept part payment in bonds I would be agreeable to accepting not to exceed 25% of the purchase price in bonds of the Water District if they are tax free general obligation bonds.
