consideration, Commissioner Bunker moved this application for variance be approved and the following resolu­tion adopted: r e s o l u t i o n WHEREAS, on the 12th day of June, 1952, Merle Frehner filed an application with the Regional Planning Commission for variance to permit the erection of a duplex unit in the re­quired rear yard on property situated at 1142 South 3rd Street in an R-3 (Multiple Dwelling) Use District; and WHEREAS, on June 19, 1952, the Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application for variance, at which time no objections were raised and no communications pro­testing the granting of said variance were received; and WHEREAS, on June 19, 1952, the Regional Planning Commission approved the application on the ground that several structures in the vicinity have been allowed to extend into the re­quired rear yard and to restrict the applicant to the wording of the ordinance would be unfair in view of these existing buildings; and WHEREAS, such decision of the Regional Planning Commission was filed with the Board of Commissioners on June 23, 1952, recommending that such variance be granted# NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that Merle Frehner be granted a variance to permit the erection of a duplex unit in the required rear yard on property situated at 1142 South 3rd Street, be and the same hereby is approved. Commissioner Bunker moved the public hearing on the application of Robert Kaltenbom for rezon­ing of a portion of Paradise Village Tract No. 4 from R-l to R-2 be set for July 21, 1952 at the hour of 4:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bun­ker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none# Absent: Commissioner Peccole# Commissioner Bunker moved the tentative map of Paradise Village Tract No. 4, as recommended by the Regional Planning, be approved# Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bun­ker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none# Absent: Commissioner Peccole# Commissioner Whipple moved the final map of Park Manor be approved subject to approval by the City Engineer and the filing of the required performance bond by the Subdivider# Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bun­ker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none# Absent: Commissioner Peccole# Commissioner Bunker moved the final map of Desert Park No# 2 be approved subject to approval by the City Engineer and the filing of the required performance bond by the Subdivider# Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote. Commissioners Bun­ker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none# Absent: Commissioner Peccole. MOSS TRACT NO. 1 Commissioner Bunker moved the Final Map of the Moss Tract No. 1 be approved subject to approval Final Map by the City Engineer and the filing of the required performance bond by the Subdivider# ?
