You will recall that in Well No. 1 the Union Pacific has an appropriation of 2.5 C.F.S. and it is my understanding that we propose to transfer that railroad appropriation to para-n ___ ___________________ _______ m and yd;, they are all right as they stand, but Mr. Reinhardt and I have been working this week on a draft of a contract to provide, in substance, for the early removal of power lines and certain minor pipe lines from property not acquired by the District and further providing for the removal by the Union Pacific or the District under the terms provided in the proposed agree­ment of the two main transmission lines which bisect some four sections of our property. I am going out to Las Vegas next week to discuss this proposed agreement with Mr. McNamee, attorney for the District. the paragraph is not in accord with our early negotiations. All of our negotiations have been based on figures pre­pared by engineers of the District and this company as the facilities exist as of May 1, 1952, and at no time in those negotiations has the date September 1, 1952, been mentioned.
