:X **&*********** Los Angeles - January 4, 1954 CLD-11342 File: 80-11 Mr. R. M, Sutton: (go - Mr. L. R. Maag - Las Vggas Mr. C. M, Bates - Los Angeles) Referring to the agreement between the Railroad Companies and the Water Company on the one hand, and the Las Vegas Valley Water District on the other, dated June 1, 1953* covering the sale of the water production, storage and distribution system in Las Vegas: I draw your attention to Exhibit MGW of this contract, which lists the documents and records to be turned over to the Water District upon the sale. You will note that numbered paragraph 1 of that Exhibit provides that we will turn over to the District the executed originals of the documents referred to in that paragraph in subsections (a), (b) and (c). It is quite possible that you will desire to have those originals photostated before turning them over to the District, and if I am correct in that belief, will you so advise me and I will have Mr. Maag or Mr. Bates furnish me a list of all the contracts, easements. and documents referred to in Paragraphl of said Exhibit "G”, in order that you may arrange to have them photostated before sending them to me for delivery to the District. I assume many of the easements referred to in Paragraph 1, If not all of them, have been recorded, and the work under most of the contracts in subparagraph (b) has undoubtedly been completed, except for a few of the late ones. Subparagraph (c) refers to the so-called Rule Nine Contracts, which are not recorded, and would include only those upon which refunds are still due. I. I. 1. Bennett
