I agree.LOS ANGELES, March 5, 1947 Mr. A. M. Folger: Mr. C. M. Cory: (cc - Mr. Frank Strong) In connection with the proposed meter bill, I enclose copy of a draft thereof and copy of wire from Mr. Marks advising that it will be introduced this week with the deletion of certain words. I am sorry those words were deleted, but apparently there has been a lot of underground opposition to the bill, and I guess the form as introduced is the best we can get. I wish you and Mr. Cory would get busy out there with representative citizens and try to get some resolutions from your various civic and service organizations for the backing of the bill. Mr. Cory can probably get the number of the bill by *phoning Mr. Marks, and I would like to see resolutions go to all of the Clark County delegation. Bennett Incs.
