MINUTES OF A REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT, HELD IN THE DIRECTORS ROOM OF THE DISTRICT OFFICE, 919 WEST BONANZA ROAD, CITY OF LAS VEGAS, COUNTY OF CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA A regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Valley Water District was held in the Directors Room of the District office, 919 West Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, Nevada. The meeting was called to order by Vice President G. William Coulthard at 7 510 P. M., Tuesday, May 1, 1956. The following Directors were present: G. William Coulthard C. Norman Cornwall S. R. DuBravac (joined meeting later) R. E. Thorn William L. Rosevear Absent: Thomas A. Campbell Harry E. Miller Also present: W. C. Renshaw, Leo A. McNamee, R. C. Kenmir, Harwood L. Jones, Mary Jean Barozzi, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Bruno F. W. Friday APPEARANCE OF EARL J. BRUNO - COMPLAINT RELATIVE TO WATER BILL Vice President Coulthard announced that the first matter before the Board was the appearance of Earl J. Bruno who had a complaint relative to his water bill. He noted the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Bruno and asked that they proceed with their discussion. Mr. Bruno reviewed his letter previously submitted to the Board, outlining the reasons why he thought his water bill was too high. It was noted that this letter was considered by the Board at the meeting of April 16, 1956. Following the discussion, Vice President Coulthard advised Mr. and Mrs. Bruno that the Board would study the matter and that the Manager would notify than, of the Board’s decision within a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Bruno thanked the Board members for their consideration and were excused from the meeting at 7:20 P. M. Director DuBravac joined the meeting at this time. APPEARANCE OF F. W. FRIDAY - COMPLAINT RELATIVE TO WATER BILL Mr. F. W. Friday reviewed his letter previously submitted to the Board outlining his complaints of the water rate being charged the Bar-None Garage. It was noted that this letter was considered by the Board at the meeting of April 16, 1956. Following the discussion, it was agreed that the premises of the Bar-None Garage would be inspected again and Mr. Friday advised of the Board’s decision. Mr. Friday was excused from the meeting at 7 :35 P* M.
