Inter-Department Correspondence To: Mr. Al Benedict/Mr. Bernie Rothkopf Ffom: Bill Bray Subject: jubilee promotion Date. Nov:^-lxx^-^X9M0^ The recent visit to Los Angeles with Tricia Lee and Janet Ford was successful and we should begin to see results in the very near future. The girls were photographed in front of the beautiful, colorful outdoor board hyping Jubilee in costume. These photographs will be distributed by Pacific Outdoor to their various client and publicity outlets and by this office through our national publicity outlets . The girls were interviewed and photographed by Lauffer Publications , and their-story and photos will appear in more than one of these magazines. The girls were also interviewed by John Mahoney of the Los Angeles Times syndicate, who writes for various other publications Janet Ford had an extensive interview with Dick Kleiner of NEA, who is syndicated in over 400 newspapers around the country. In all interviews, the girls were extremely articulate and a credit to MGM, Jubilee and their profession. In most cases, I sense that the journalist goes into the interviev/ feeling intellectucally superior, with a pre-conceived notion that "showgirls" of Las- Vegas are going to be physically beautiful' but mental midgets. In every case, I felt that the journalist was over-matched, and early in the interviews displayed a certain awe and fascination for the subject and the discoveries made about the subject material. The girls vrere great! I can't say enough. They were extremely cooperative in what was really a cha.llening situation and schedule. They -have earned our thanks and my admiration.
