Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Theta Theta Omega Chapter hospitality committee report

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE REPORT MAY 25, 1993 7:00 P.M.
The Hospitality Committee met on Monday, May 25, 1993. In attendance were:
Kechia Thomas-English, Chairperson
Kim Bell
Lisa Davis
Millie Dilworth
Loveda Minley
The committee discussed having a Day of Recognition for sorors which would take place at the June Sorority Chapter Meeting.
The Summer Cooler was also discussed and will take place on July 10 at Lisa's clubhouse on Hollywood. This Summer Cooler will include Sorors and Honeydos. The time will be 6:00 p.m. It was decided that a meat committee be formed to donate $5.00 for the purchase of meat (hamburgers, hotlinks, and hotdogs). •is committee wil be approximately 10 sorors. The rest will be potluck and sign-up sheet will passed around at the June meeting.
Nomination sheets will be passed out at the October sorority meeting for the Thelma Tyree Soror of the Year Award. They should be turned in at the November meeting. The announcement of the winner will be given at the December Sorority Meeting.

Any Soror that knows of an accomplishment of any other Soror in Theta Theta Omega, please give that information to the Hodegos, or any Soror on the Hospitality Committee. We want to recognize our own.
Providing babysitting at Sorority meetings was discussed.
Any Soror that may not be able to attend a particular meeting due to babysitting problems, please relay that information to the committee. If the need is great enough, we would like to work out babysitting arrangements.
The undergraduate chapter will be invited to participate in our Sisterly Relations activities.
Taking a short trip, outside of the retreat was discussed. This activity could possibly take place during the summer months or early fall. Details will be finalized at a later date. If any Soror has a suggestion on a nearby place they would like to travel to as a group, please give that information to the Hodegos or any Hospitality member.
