The undersigned Do hereby Locate and Claim [one?] Town Site in the El Dorado Wash five & one half mile up from the River beginning at the South, east-[not legible] [not legible] Eerbys Station Sit and running in a easterly Direction from the monument upon which this notice is placed three hundred feet to a corner monument thence in a Southerly Direction three hundred feet to another corner monument of Stone there in a westerly Direction [six?] hundred feet to another monument of Stone there in a northerly Direction three hundred feet to another stone monument near the old well there in a Easterly Direction three hundred feet to the center [not legible] as place if beginning.
Said town site is situated at the [forks?] of the San [Gran?] & the Eldorado Wash Dated August 5th 1880
