    GLEN HEATHER ESTATES Final Map HOUSE MOVING HOUSE MOVING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 100-25 Construction Contract ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 100-23 Partial Payment SOUTH 5TH STREET IMPROVEMENT GAMING APPLICATION SEWER CONNECTION At this time the final map of Glen Heather Estates was presented to the Board for consideration. Discussion was held on the property for the school and it was decided that before unit No. 2 of this subdivision is approved satisfactory arrangements must be made with the School Board. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the final map of Glen Heather Estates be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign said map. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Jarrett moved the request to move a house from 201 North 6th Street to 1204 Cunningham be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Bunker. Commissioner Sharp passed his vote because his firm is the architect for the Moulon Rouge. Commissioner Jarrett moved the request to move a house from the 1100 block on "D" Street to 713 Madison be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Bunker. Commissioner Bunker moved the contract with Nevada Electric for the improvements in Assessment District No. 100-25 be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same, on the condition that Nevada Electric will be held harmless from any loss on the standards and poles in the event the City elects to cancel the contract. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the request of Wells Cargo for partial payment on Assessment District No. 100-23 in the amount of $65,243.06 be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign the warrant when prepared. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the curbs on South 9th Street be set back on the west side of 9th Street between Bridger and Clark and on the east side of 9th Street between Bridger and Lewis on the condition that the property owners pay for the paving and curbs and gutters. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the curbs on South 9th Street and Bridger be left as specified, 50 feet between curbs. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of the Eldorado Club Inc. dba The Horseshoe Club, 128 Fremont, for license for one additional crap game for the fourth quarter of 1954 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the request of Young Electric to connect to the City sewer be denied. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before this special meeting, Commissioner Bunker moved the meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. 12-20-54
