BROCKWAY 131 No. 5th ft " LIQUOR LICENSE Andy's Liquor Store Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time Commissioner Sharp moved the action taken by the Board in regard to Any's Liquor Store be rescinded. Justification for this motion is that Mr. Bruner should be repremanded and his license suspended for thirty days, but the Board has given other Liquor licenses a second chance. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Sharp then moved the license be suspended for thirty days as of December 1 6 , 1953. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Sharp and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioners Bunker and Whipple. MARYCREST TENTATIVE MAP The matter of the Marycrest Tentative Map was brought before the Board at this time for consideration. To be held inabeyance until December 29, 1953. USE PERMIT APPLICATION Rose Underwood Approved U-T2-53 At the time the recommendation of the City Planning Commission approving the application of Rose Underwood to operate and maintain a child nursery at 2006 Fairfield Avenue was considered by the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved this recommendation be approved subject to the approval of the Health Department and the following resolution adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas in a regular meeting on the l6th day of December, 1953, having considered the application of Rose Underwood for a Use Permit to operate and maintain a child nursery at 2006 Fairfield Avenue; and VARIANCE APPLICATION Ola H. Garner Denied V-87-53 The Board having considered the decision of the City Planning Commission recommending approval of this application. NOW, THEREFORE, it is the decision of this Board that the application of Rose Underwood U-72-53, as approved by the Planning Commission and subject to the approval of the Health Department he and the same is hereby granted, and the inspection departments are authorized to issue the necessary permits. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Jarrett as he sold this property. At this time the recommendation of the City Planning Commission denying the application of Ola H. Garner to maintain a Commercial Barbecue Pit and Stand at 1417H St was considered by the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved the recommendation of the Planning Commission that this application be denied, be accepted and the following resolution adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas in a regular meeting on the l6th day of December, 1953, having considered the application of Ola H. Garner for a variance to maintain a Commercial Barbecue Pit and Stand at 1417 "H" St. and 12-16-53
