Dear Sir: On Sunday of this week, we had our W a t e r Service g a n g go u p to W e l l No-3 and install a w e i r w i t h perfect d e a d pond for measuring the production f r o m this w e l l and b e f o r e turning it into the trans- . mis s i o n m a i n b e t w e e n the w e l l and settling basin. On Monday, Mr. Jameson, State Water Surveyor, A1 Folger and myself made an accur a t e measurement of this w a t e r and re-checked same, w h i c h indicated a flow of 1,378,000 gallons per day, a substantial increase over the m e a s ­urem e n t t a k e n b y Mr. Greene shortly after the w e l l was completed M a r c h 8th, w h i c h was then I u n d e r s t a n d 917,000 gallons per day. Y e s t e r d a y we had our w a t e r service gang install w e i r for measuring b o t h W e l l No-2 and the Little Spring, a n d today we again had measurements of these sources taken b y Mr. Jameson, w i t h Mr. Greene present; the results were: W e l l No-? - 1,016,640 G.P.Day Little Spring - 724,760 G.P.Day All of these figures were g i v e n Mr. Greene, but for the b e n e f i t of your records a n d Mr. Reinhardt's we are also gi v i n g you the information. W e l l No-3 w i l l b e turned into the s e t t l i n g b a s i n either Sunday or Monday, M a y 6th, after the cement has b e e n g i v e n a n opportunity to thoroughly set in the w e i r box, as w e do not wish to take a n y chance of turning
