I agree.September 12, 1925. Pile W-29-1 Mr. E. E. Calvin, President, Las Vegas Land & Water Company, Qmaha, Nebraska. Dear Sir: It is with pleasure that I report to you the following in reference to our Clark County taxes, the same having, thru our able and good friend Mr. W.E.Hawkins, County Assessor, been very materially reduced. The assessed valuation of the L.V.L.& W.Cofts lands was reduced from $29,560.00 to $15,920.00, and of the Railroad’s lands from $18,436.00 to $9,218.00. These reductions will make very material reduction in our $rax this year, as the rate will be almost the same as last year, being fixed at this time at 4.365. There may be some little variation but not enough to amount to very much. Very truly yours, Vice-President and Agent. wrb/as
