Bancroft* ^Mr. J, Ross Clark, Special Committee, Bear Sirs:- I enclose copy of Mr. CuIlonas letter of even date, from which it will be noted that he has obtained a bid from Contractor A. J. Roberts on the packing house to be built at Riverside under Appropriation Ho* 1101, which will save six hundred dollars as compared with what building could be constructed for with our own forces. I enclose (to Mr. Clark) a draft of the agreement with Mr. Roberts, which X recommend be approved and authority given me to execute. It is desirable that work begin on this house at the earliest practicable date*
